Engineered Stone - Quartz

Engineering stone is made from a new type of natural quartz crystal ore. Up to 93% quartz crystals and 7% resin polymers, mineral pigments, complexing agents, and additives are synthesized under vacuum, high temperature, and pressure conditions.
Artificial stone is widely used in NZ home decoration, architecture, and public commercial decoration due to its high plasticity, rich colors and small color differences.

Nature Stone - Granite

Granite is also one of the materials often used in NZ home kitchen decoration because of its remarkable density, hardness, and hard-wearing surface.
In the materials used for kitchen benchtops, the slab of natural stone is usually not long enough, so if you want to make a beautiful long integrated benchtop (especially U- and L-shaped tables), there will be obvious joints there, these joints can also easily hide dirt

Formica

Formica benchtops are made using a durable, thin laminate, formed to a high-density board with a flame retardant finish.
The colors are bright and various with rich patterns, fire-safe, and waterproof. The quality of the internal material affects the service life.
The disadvantage of Formica countertops nz is that they are susceptible to corrosion and, if operated incorrectly, are prone to the serious hazards of open glue, deformation, and the expansion of the panels.

Stainless steel

Stainless steel benchtops with a glossy surface and excellent performance. It is generally a high-density fireproof board with a layer of stainless steel on top.
It is robust, easy to clean, practical, and has good antibacterial properties. In addition, stainless steel worktops should avoid being scratched by sharp tools and special care must be taken when wiping their surfaces.

Solid wood

Solid wood countertops are mostly used for commercial decoration, and it is relatively difficult to process, so the price is higher.
Besides the quality of the solid wood benchtop itself, durability depends on the user's maintenance. To extend its service life, avoid direct sunlight and hard scratches in the later use, and keep the benchtop clean and hygienic, all these aspects are well maintained to effectively ensure its service life.
